How do I use filters on the iFlow panels?

In iFlow there are many types of filters for each area of the app. You will find specific filters for reports or panels in the app that you can use to see the necessary information easily.

Read this article to find out which are the most interesting and complex filters you can use.

Activity panel filters in iFlow

This panel has a set of iFlow filters, for each event, for each team, each employee, each event’s status, and more. You can find out more about these filters here.

Example:

You want to check your previous month’s holiday requests and find out how many requests each employee has. In the activity panel, you will do this:

  • From the menu “Event types” you will check “Paid leave”
  • Then click on “Select time frame” and choose the period for the previous month
  • If you only want “Approved” events to be displayed, then you will tick this box in the “Status” area.
  • And then you can download reports such as “Totals” and “Events”

Dashboard panel filters in iFlow

This panel can be filtered first by teams. Then there is the set of filters in the so-called “Today’s status”. You can use this filter to find out who is now in the workplace, who works from home, and more. Read more about them here.

Example:

  • You want to find out who is present at work and who is on holiday today. You will do this:
  • Click on “Today’s status”
  • Then check the “Attendance by” box and choose either “Live attendance” or “Work schedule”
  • Then check the box “Paid leave”

You will notice that the General Panel will be split “Today – at work” and will show you who is present at work, “Today – Missing” will show you who is absent either because he hasn’t checked-in (if you use Live attendance) or because he has no work schedule set for the current day. And at “Today – Missing, paid leave”, it will show you who is on holiday.

Work schedule panel filters in iFlow

You find these filters by clicking on the “Display” button. The filters are:

  • Graphic display (how the work schedule is displayed, by the predefined color representation, or by hours and hours + total representation )
  • Predefined shifts
  • Name
  • Job title
  • Days with errors
  • Without schedule
  • Schedule 8 hours/day
  • Schedule of 8h+/day
  • Waiting approval (will show you employees who have unapproved events)

You can use all these filters in which combinations you need to extract the information you want.

Example:

If your company has a lot of employees and you want to see if there are employees without an established working schedule, you can easily check this way:

Navigate in the Work schedule panel, click on “Display” and check the “Without schedule” box.
