The “Attendance notifications” function differs depending on the user category. Thus, for employees there are notifications only for their own attendance, and for the team leader and administrator there are notifications also for employee attendance.
Attendance notifications for team member
Notify the current employee when he is late for work
Notifications for this user category are related to work delay. Basically, the application checks the schedule of work, and if the employee did not arrive on time, it sends a notice of delay.
Notify the current employee when he / she checked in from the wrong location.
This option work in case the employee had to check in at a certain location. If this happens, the app will notify you that it has been flagged in the wrong location.
To enable this notification, follow these steps:
- From the employee’s profile
- Click on the “Settings” button (next to the Profile button)
- Click on the “Permissions” submenu
- Check the box for “Notify current employee when he is late for work or has checked in from the wrong location“
- Click on “Save settings“
Attendance notifications via
This option can select how notifications are sent. You can choose to send it via email, through iFlow’s own notification system, or both.
Attendance notifications for team leader and administrator
Team leaders and / or administrators can activate their own attendance notifications if they wish, following the same steps above. Moreover, they may receive notifications when subordinate employees are late for work or from the wrong location.
To enable notifications for subordinate employees, follow these steps:
- From the employee’s profile
- Click on the “Settings” button (next to the Profile button)
- Click on the “Permissions” submenu
- Click on “Select teams“
- Check the box for the desired team / teams
Click on “Save settings“
Notifications e-mail
You can set a separate email in that box to send the selected notifications. This option is recommended if you want to send notifications to an address other than the one registered for login and for cases where one person has multiple iFlow accounts, this option will allow them to set the same email address for all accounts.
